Be honest, did you click the email because of the title?
We all want a quick fix but it's almost like believing in magic. Video after video and talk after talk without any result. Maybe this diet or that tactic or just one more book to read and that will fix things…
If you’re looking for a quick fix, stop now!
Check out the latest video where I explore the problems caused by the big promise of ‘the quick fix’.
Go to a million subscribers in just a weekend
Or £0 to £100,000pa by next month
What about losing 15 stone before Friday
We know these statements can’t be true.
So, why do marketers use them? Because they work. People buy the quick-fix headline.
As you travel on your journey to be a successful salesperson, beware of shiny objects and seemingly easy solutions along your path.
The truth is being good at anything will take time.
You can make changes and improve any part of your life. But rarely does that happen quickly or easily.
The problem with looking for quick fixes is you're chasing something but never get there. Then you become disheartened and stop.
Do this instead:
Take your time – choose the right change and put a process in place to sustain it.
Build considerately and carefully – start small, implement slowly. Little and often is best.
Be consistent – the right changes done well only work if you keep going.
Follow this and you can genuinely change your sales, your business and your life. It just won't be before the weekend.
